Improve the site. Preserve what matters.
A redesign should solve the problems your customers encounter while protecting useful content and working business systems. Compass Loft plans website redesigns for businesses across Pensacola and the Gulf Coast.
IS THIS THE RIGHT FIT?
For an existing website that is difficult to use, hard to maintain, unclear about your services or no longer reflects the business.
Find the problem before replacing the site.
We start with your current pages, customer questions, inquiry paths and available search reports. Sometimes clearer copy, repaired forms or a more usable mobile layout will solve the immediate issue. A broader rebuild makes sense when the structure or platform keeps getting in the way.
Give every existing URL a decision.
Useful pages should have a planned destination. We identify what to retain, rewrite, combine or remove, then map any necessary redirects. Search titles, canonical URLs, internal links and sitemap entries should agree with that plan. A migration can affect search performance, so the release needs checks and a rollback path.
- Inventory current pages and important external links
- Record retained URLs and redirect destinations
- Carry across approved content and relevant assets
- Verify redirects, real error pages and the new sitemap
Test the business handover.
A finished design is only part of the change. We verify the contact or booking journey, identify who manages hosting and the domain, and agree on post-launch support. Access belongs with the appropriate business owner; passwords and private customer information should not be placed in an inquiry form.
- Check inquiry delivery and required integrations
- Review representative desktop and mobile tasks
- Preserve available measurement and verification settings
- Record launch responsibilities and recovery steps
Before we begin.
Do we have to replace everything?
No. The review determines which parts to keep. Existing content, branding and systems can remain where they still meet your needs.
Can a redesign affect our Google traffic?
Yes. Changes to URLs, content, navigation and availability can affect search visibility. Careful mapping and monitoring reduce avoidable problems, but no migration can guarantee unchanged rankings.
What should I bring?
Your current website address, the problems customers report, the pages that matter most and any available search or inquiry reports. We arrange secure access separately if it is needed.
